Thruxton Skid Pan

Thruxton Skid Pan is a purpose‑built low‑grip training facility located at the Thruxton Circuit. It offers driver‑training sessions that teach drivers how to control a vehicle in slippery conditions using modern front‑ and rear‑wheel drive cars such as the MINI Cooper, Porsche Cayman, Caterham Seven and others. The sessions include expert instruction on correcting understeer and oversteer, throttle and braking management, skid recovery techniques, and the use of electronic safety systems. The facility is accredited as a Driver CPC centre and caters to adults, juniors and corporate groups.
