Emerald School of Motoring

Emerald School of Motoring is an independent automatic driving school based in Herne Bay, Kent. With over 25 years of experience and a Grade A instructor, the school offers trial lessons, hourly lessons, intensive courses and a free one‑hour trial. Their mission is to teach learners safe driving skills and help them pass their DVSA test on the first attempt.

£34.00 per hour (automatic) – pre‑pay blocks: £180 for 5h, £350 for 10h, £517.50 for 15h, £680 for 20h; Pay‑as‑you‑go: £38.00 per hour (minimum 1½h). Intensive course: flat rate £40 per hour with a £200 deposit.
